    In accordance with Article 4, Section 5 of the Bylaws for HOA of Brentwood Place, Inc., you are hereby given notice of, and requested to attend, the 2024 Annual Meeting for Homeowners. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. via www.gotomeeting.com.

    A proxy is a written instrument, signed by the member, which duly appoints the member’s voting rights and attendance. Please take a moment to sign and return the enclosed proxy even if you plan to attend, as unforeseen circumstances can occur. The deadline to return the proxy is Tuesday, June 25, 2024, by Noon. Please email the proxy to sondra@legacysouthwestpm.com or submit your proxy on the community website. Your attendance or proxy will help fulfill the quorum requirements. The quorum required to hold a meeting is twenty percent (20%) of all lot owners. If the quorum for the annual meeting is not met, the Association will not be able to conduct any Association business, and will incur additional expenses to recall, reschedule and re-notice.

    An election will be held for two (2) positions on the Board of Directors. If you are interested in running, please complete the Candidacy Form enclosed or on the community website or return it via email to sondra@legacysouthwestpm.com by Sunday, June 23, 2024.If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

  7. City of Denton Special Collection

    City of Denton will be hosting an event on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in celebration of Texas Recycles Day. We will be hosting a drop-off at Home Chemical Collection (HCC) where they will be offering their usual collection of HHW but also a special collection of bikes, books, etc. Donate2Impact will also be set up there to accept donatable items. We will also be hosting two tours of the recycling facility for residents to get a behind-the-scenes look at the recycling facility that processes their recyclables. Residents must register for the tour and wear close-toed shoes.

    Home Chemical Collection (HCC) is located at 1527 S Mayhill Rd. Building 300, Denton, Tx. 76208. HCC will be accepting household hazardous waste, appliances, electronics, and a special collection of:

      - Bikes
      - Books
      - Grills
      - Exercise equipment
      - Plastic film (Plastic bags, produce bags, bubble wrap, etc)
      *Must be a City of Denton resident to use HCC. Fees apply to items with refrigerants and screens.

    Donate2Impact will be at HCC from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. accepting donatable items such as:

      - Clothing
      - Shoes
      - Purses and backpacks
      - Jewelry and accessories
      - Linens and blankets
      - Toys
      - Small home decor

    Register for a tour of Pratt Industries. Pratt Industries is the recycling facility that sorts the City of Denton's curbside recycling. Curious about what happens to recyclables once they leave the curb? Register for a tour at 10 a.m. or noon to get a behind-the-scenes look:
